Some 97 degree Utah Fun!

 I was trying different settings on my camera not knowing what I was doing at all, Ha!  Going to Grandpa and Grandma Ryan's home means we get to play pool, and Bryant is finally old enough to use the sticks!  Sydney doesn't look too happy in this photo, she was probably mad and Bry for something...

 We were fortunate enough to have a personal tour of Antelope Island by a State Parks dude.  He has really cool and knew a lot.  I hope the kids learned something.  We saw tons of buffalo, they have about 750 on the island right now.  The babies are so cute!

 Grandma is a professional photographer with Busath in SLC and while we took turns getting our photos taken this is what Taylor did to keep busy, making friendship bracelets.

 Grandma taught us how to make bread, this is what you do to get out all the air bubbles, too much fun!

Bryant taught Grandpa how to play chopsticks, a finger game all elementary school age children know I was informed...

Summer Softball

 Todd and a group of friends play softball every thursday night.  When there aren't enough players they just have batting and fielding practice and the kids get involved too.  Not sure why Bry is wearing a pirate vest...  so much fun meeting up with friends every week.

Palm Tree

 Sydney loves to make things with our palm tree fronds.  This time it was a sun shelter that she shared with her little brother.

Coach Pitch Baseball 2012

 Todd is coaching Bryant on third base.  After our last game we had a little party with cupcakes and juice and of course trophies!  Bryant's said, "Bryant Homerun Hitter".  He came up with the name as he was the last batter or the homerun hitter  in a lot of the games they had.  We had twelve players and three coaches. 

The Pirates of the Caribbean players are:

Jonah, Morrie, Ethan, Graham, Andru, Cecil, Abraham, Bryant, Kyle, Jaxon, Cameron, Coach Jeff, Coach Mira and Coach Jake isn't in the photo and Shane had to leave early so he isn't in the photo either.  Can't wait until next spring for more BALL!

Spring Recital 2012

Last week was Sydney's Spring Piano Recital.  She did well and it was so fun to watch her perform.  She messed up one little part and has been trying to perfect the song every day since!  What a trooper!  The good thing is, is that she still wants to play, Yay!



A Couple of Birthdays!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TODD & TAYLOR!

 Papa, Nana, Louise and her family came to visit to celebrate Taylor's fifteenth and Todd's 42nd Birthdays!  Todd always has lemon meringue pie and Taylor got a yummy chocolate fudge cake, it was so pretty! 

 Taylor is pretty happy with Nana's choice in shoes for her.  I would call Taylor an athletic shoe horder!  Any money she makes she wants to buy shoes!  These are pretty cool though! 

Made it to State!

Taylor, Sarah, Airashay, Chelsey?

These are the four girls of the Hazen 4x100m relay team who made it to state this year!  They didn't qualify for the finals but are the 14th fastest team in the state of Washington! Two seniors, a sophomore and a freshman (tay).  Time to recruit!  This was two weeks ago and soccer starts today!  Never a dull moment, it's good to be busy!
