Last Day of Preschool

Bryant's last day of preschool was this week! He is so excited to be attending his big sister's school. They will be there together for one year before she moves on to middle school and Taylor is in highschool! Bryant's buddy is named Caden and he is second from the left. He is in the Issaquah school district, so sad. The girl on the far left is Maddie and she will be attending Sierra heights with Bry and they get along well. My son is not little anymore! Kindergarten, here we come!

Go Silver Hawks!

Silver Hawks? I know, there is no such thing, right? They were all standing around waiting for team photos and learned they needed a team name... this is what a bunch of 10, 11 and 12 year olds came up with! We always yell out to Tay to get into ready position...she yells back, "This is my ready position"! Okay, as long as you can get to the ball quick enough!
This is my baby after hitting her first triple!

Garden Time

A couple of weeks ago we finally got our garden in. We planted tomatoes, a couple of different lettuces, spinach, peas, beans, herbs, onions, peppers of all kinds, carrots, zucchini and yellow squash, pumpkins, butternut squash, and cucumber!!! I can hardly wait for harvest time! I can already see the beans and peas we started from seed popping up through the earth...yummy!

Rock Climbing

We try to make it to play group on Fridays and this particular park is our favorite! It has huge rocks for climbing and Bry loves them! At the top he likes to let me know and don't you just love how he poses for me!? I have all my children trained so well! Too bad those power lines are in the way of a great photo...

Oh! The suspense...

Does anyone remember this movie, starring Mel Gibson?

It is called Signs and the only way to get rid of the Aliens was to get water on them...remember now? Sorry for the bad tv photos.

Now look at Sydney... she was terrified watching this movie and so intense! We had more fun watching her!

Spirit Week

This week was Spirit Week at Sydney's school. On Thursday it was 60's day. She decided she wanted her hair kinky and free, so we braided it. She also wore her shirt that had peace symbols on it and boots. She thought she looked great!

Woodland Park Zoo

Taylor asked if I would go on the seventh grade field trip to the zoo with her! It was so much fun! Last year we went to the aquarium and that was crazy, six hundred sixth graders! They have matured a tiny bit and I'll leave it at that!
This is my group, and they were pretty good kids. They started getting energetic after we had lunch and we still had two hours left! We got lucky with the rain. It only rained a bit towards the end of our stay and then started pouring while in the bus on our way back to the school!
My favorite animals to watch are the elephants! This lady has some skin problems and needs a wax job!
Loved the bears too! We had a year pass to the zoo in Portland Oregon every year before we moved to England and went weekly! My girls loved the zoo animals! And we hardly ever saw the bears, they were always hiding! These guys were gorgeous!
