Eighth Grade Recogniton 2011

We dropped off Bryant at a friend's to play, took Sydney to school and then headed to McKnight for Taylor's graduation from middle school.  Wow!  She will be in high school next fall...  We decided to take the second row in the bleachers at the back to be able to see, we had good seats.  This graduation was two hours too long!  I told Taylor in the morning that most everyone would be dressed nicely... this is what she wore, can you believe it?  Well actually, yes!  This is so Taylor...  and her friend Catalina.  Above photo, Taylor is somewhere halfway up on the right side, can't you see her?  I couldn't either until she stood up for her sports recognition.

Fifth Grade Recognition 2011

Last Tuesday was Sydney's fifth grade recognition, gratuation from elementary school!  Yay!  Above photo is of the fifth grade play, Sydney had the lead part in her class' play. The girl who cried wolf.  I tried to download it, I will try again because it didn't work.  She did amazing!  She is definitely talented!

Class of 2023

Kinder Graduation was last week.  They sang a few songs and then were presented their certificates of advancement.  Above is Bryant's class and below he is giving his teacher a high five that missed....oops!  Watch out Mrs. Wolcott!  Notice her eyes are closed, just in case!

 At the end of the year the kinders are given a memory book of Kindergarten and Bryant is going through his and reading the book Grandpa's Farm to me.  He loves to read!  Two months of summer holiday starts now!

Fifth Grade Rocket Launch

Every day last week was crazy with school events!  Tuesday the fifth grade launched their rockets.  They either had their own or shared one.  Sydney had her own and painted it herself.  Even though the sun was not out, it was so bright trying to find the rockets in the sky to follow them down to the ground or roof top for some!  Below is Sydney's class.

Last Game of the Year!

I am amazed at how much the boys and girl on our team have improved!  They are hitting the ball on the first or second try and running straight to first base.  They also know to throw the ball to first base!  I'm going to miss baseball!  Until next spring!  Run! Baby, Run!

A Teen Birthday Party

Yesterday we celebrated Taylor's fourteenth birthday with a friend party.  We started off the party by going bowling, came home ate pizza, jumped on the trampoline, played Wii Just Dance 2, went to the church to ride the go kart, back home for birthday pie and presents, jumped on the trampoline again and started watching the movie Grownups... phew!  We were all a bit tired after that day!  Hope they all had fun!  It was actually nice to meet Taylor's friends from school and to see they are all really nice normal girls!  he he!
