Walk a thon...Taylor

I love the end of year school activities!  This is Taylor, in red, walking the track rocking out to YMCA.  It was spirit week and today was 70's day.  There were only 20-30 kids that even tried to dress up, most didn't.  Bryant and I were sitting in our van watching from the road.  I forget what an awkward age middle school is.  You could totally tell who everyone was by their groups and it was quite comical!  I had so much fun just watching them walk past me, knowing I will never have to endure middle school again!  Actually, it was called Junior High back in the day!

My cute not so baby, baby!

Just look at that face!  He is so dang cute!  We love him so much and he fits so well into our family.  His new found love it to ride his bike.  This is a small park that we sometimes wait for Sydney to meet us at on her way home from school.  Love you Bry!

My Garden Groweth...even without sun!

Here are my blueberry plants, the closest one even has buds on it already!  Then the raspberries are in the background and growing nicely.  I hope we get some berries this year!
Remember my apple and pear trees?  They weren't dead like Todd thought!  They live and are blooming!
My vegetable garden looks a little different than when I showed you before.  In the back on the left are the beans and peas, the ones from starts are the ones you can see pretty well.  The ones from seeds are still growing under the surface, I hope!  Along the back are my tomato plants.  I stand on the boogie board to water along the fence.  Next you see eight round patches.  These are my zucchini, squash, lemon cucumber and regular cucumbers.  I had a neighbor who planted hers in a well and it worked so good for her,  that is how I've always done it since...all the water runs down to the plant.  To the right are the herbs, to the left are carrots and peppers.  In front of those are the spinach and lettuces and then the Walla Walla Sweet Onions, which are growing nicely!  I love to watch the growth in my yard, I can hardly wait for veggies to be ready, but first we need more sun!  Hope your gardens are growing well!

Mother's Day Gift!

This is my Mother's day gift from my family!  I have been wanting a new camera for years!  Yeah!  This photo was taken by my old camera and didn't even focus.
Wow, it is amazing the difference in quality a camera can have.  These are begonias and fushias that Todds' mom was planting, I just loved the colors!

Here is my old point and shoot taken with my new camera.  Bye Bye camera!

Activity Day Mother's Dinner

This past Tuesday evening our young girls from church got together to celebrate their mothers. We had a nice dinner and dessert, then the girls sang "Mother, I love You" and this is what we got.  Mind you this was the second time they sang it so I could record it.  I was too enthralled with their perfect pitch and tone the first time through!  They graciously sang it again for me to record and have forever!  Then they gave us picture frames that they had mod podged and said something nice about their moms.  Taylor said she loved me because I made her lunch, and Sydney said she loved everything!

Wii Junkies!

Tuesday afternoons Bryant's friend Jon comes over to play.  And all they want to do lately is play Wii Lego Star Wars or Indian Jones!
Last week Bryant wiped our Wii clean... I mean clean!  We had to remake our Mii's and start all over!  We worked so hard earning all those extra yoga poses and run routes!  Darn!  Todd made my Mii last night and look at how fat he made me!  Maybe I am that fat and just didn't think so... Hopefully when I get on the measure myself, it will slim down a bit!  I can always hope!

Random Bryant

Bryant has finally learned to ride his big boy bike!  He can start and stop all on his own!  He even said he wants to ride to pick up Sydney from school every day!  Since he received his new bike for Christmas he has only wanted to ride his baby bike, as he calls it, to meet Sydney after school.  He was having so much fun riding around in circles in from of our house and pulling over for cars to go by.  Look at that smile!
Mario Kart anyone?  Bry is a pro!
