Last Saturday we ventured out to watch Dad fish and to get out of the house. We picked blackberries, threw rocks into the water, floated huge leaves down the current and Taylor made a rock bench to sit on.
Can you think of any better place to be put in "time out"? He didn't mind it at all!
Sydney got some sketching done of the river scene, while Tay and Dad flyfished.
This river was not very deep at all, they were able to wade across and fish on the far side without any problems. It was so beautiful... what you can't see are the 13 other people fishing to the left of them in this photo! Way too many people around and that was only as far as I could see to the bend in the river from where I was sitting!

Okay, that last shot looks like a still straight out of A River Runs Through It. Is that Brad Pitt? ;)
