Last week's fun

A friend of mine called up last week and wanted to go to the "beach".  The word beach around here means the sandy area on Lake Washington in New Castle, near our home.  It is a great park with grass, play equipment, sand and water!  What else could one ask for in the heat of summer?  Bryant was so excited to use his new sand toy at the beach and found that wet sand doesn't work at all, but the dry stuff does!  Sydney just loved building in the sand.

While we were in Portland, Aunt Louise got the go kart running again for us and so we took it to the church parking lot for a run.

Taylor's helmet is way too big for Bryant, but he likes wearing it and it has better coverage than his bike helmet...
