Troy, Oregon

This is where we held our Ryan family reunion... Troy, Oregon.  One afternoon we decided to walk to town, which meant a hike down the driveway through two gates and then down the road and across this bridge.  Town consisted of a market and a Shilo Inn, that maybe had four rooms!  But... the town was closed.  Apparently, there isn't enough business to warrant being open.  Darn!  We were hoping for icecream...  So, we headed back across the bridge to the school playground to play, last year there were six students of varying ages.  Can you imagine... Little House On The Prairie!  This is the Grande Rhonde River and it runs right by the house we stayed in.
You just don't see fun equipment like this anymore... too dangerous!  Whatever!  The kids loved it.  You pump it back and forth and it spins you faster and faster around!
This is the little creek near the house that ran into the river further down.  Hmmm... should we build a dam?  Yes, let's do!  Once the kids started, Uncle Cliff, Uncle Daniel  and Grandpa had to get involved to make sure it was made correctly.  Bryant just wanted to throw sticks and rocks and kept hitting everyone first, then the water.

My sister brought water pistols, but Bryant had more fun just dumping on his head.
